“Behind the Computer Curtain” Callback Breakdown
Hi Everyone! Thank you so much for your time and effort today. I’ve never done Zoom auditions like this, and other than some technical hiccups, you all showed such professionalism and grace, and I’m so honored that you came out to audition. Before you read on, please understand the following: -I may not be able to cast everyone. If you are not cast, PLEASE don’t be disheartened. We had a really large turnout. -Please also understand that I do not answer parent/guardian emails about casting choices. I would rather have the conversation with you (the student) in person, since this is about YOUR audition. -Starting next week, I am happy to give you your feedback notes on your audition performance. Since this is educational theatre, it’s important for you to take advantage of this opportunity to learn what other people see when you are auditioning. Now….for callbacks. READ CAREFULLY. Below, you will find your name if you are being called back, who you are being paired with, the script, character and page numbers you will be reading. You will see the time you are going to be working with me on Zoom. Below is the Zoom link (it’s our regular class Zoom link). Join Zoom Meeting https://losal-org.zoom.us/j/92910879602?pwd=OUUzZFV0ZEFUS2lZNzc4Q3AxcU1LQT09 Meeting ID: 929 1087 9602 Passcode: 474243 Look in Google Classroom and find the script for your callback. Either print those pages, or make sure that you have access to it on a device for the callback. You are not necessarily being looked at for the exact role you’re reading for in the callback, but I want to see what you can do. You are NOT expected to have memorized these lines for tomorrow. I am looking for BIG, BOLD character choices. These plays are both farces, so the characters are big and broad. I want to see you have so much fun. Bring your energy, your volume, and your enthusiasm. And, if you are assigned to read a character in the opposite gender, feel free to change the pronouns and other markers. 3:00-3:10pm - Help Desk page 6-9 Jaiden Edwardson - Angel Allyson Bragg- Jeralyn 3:10-3:20 - Help Desk pg 9-12 Michael Sandoval- Boris Ethan Nemeth - Tanner 3:20-3:30- Help Desk pg 12-14 Elle Garcia - Talula Shane Prunty- Carter 3:30-3:40 - Help Desk pg 18-20 Ro Fisk- Monique Alyssa Manzanares- Preston 3:40-3:50 - Help Desk pg 24-26 (stop after Brent’s line ‘Come on!’) Jonathan Reyes - Brent Tori Peterson - Maria 3:50-4:00 - Help Desk pg 29-32 Summer Rogers- Yamira Sophie Littig- Chase 4:00-4:10 - Homeschooled pg 10-12 Michael Savic- Gary Hayley Dunn- Teresa Tanner Linn- Clown/Eugene 4:10-4:20 - Homeschooled pg 10-12 Dimitri June - Gary Brooke Singleton- Teresa Eben O’Brien - Clown/Eugene 4:20-4:30 - Homeschooled pg 10-12 Sam Wildman - Gary Izzy Ruiz - Teresa Izzy White - Clown/Eugene 4:30-4:40 - Homeschooled pg 14-16 Nathan Spolter- Phil Lucas McHugh - Matt and Brendan Inserys Carrasquillo - Daria and Ian Chloe Perz - Morgan Grace DeJongh- Maria 4:40-4:50 - Homeschooled pg 20-21 Madison Gulmatico - Teresa Landon Small - Gary 4:50-5:00 - Help Desk pg 6-9 Ria Vicente - Angel Lizzy Legere - Jeralyn 5:00-5:10 - Help Desk pg 9-12 Nikki Ocampo - Boris Alex Magana - Tanner 5:10-5:20 - Help Desk pg 12-14 Lily Gomoljak - Talula Cameron Cleve - Carter Please email me with any questions.
