Sophie Littig is National Champion!

The Thespy Awards are given out by the Educational Theatre Association as the National Champion awards for theatre students.

In a non-COVID year, Los Al Drama would have traveled to Indiana for a week-long "Nationals" that includes seeing full-length award-winning productions, college auditions for rising seniors, workshops, and the National level performance event.

Students must have qualified at the state level in order to participate in the Thespy competition.

This year, during the virtual version of the International Thespian Festival, Los Al Drama's Sophie Littig took home the TOP honors for her heart-wrenching short film, By My Side.
